- The Star-Spangled Banner Flag House is located in Baltimore. Mary Pickersgill had a flag-making business and was commissioned to sew the flag that flew over Fort McHenry. Be prepared tonight at 7:51 p.m., "it will come within 222,238 miles of Earth (about 16,000 miles closer than its average distance) and is expected to be about 10 percent brighter than the regular full moon." Please do not be disappointed to find out that the moon is not pink or strawberry shaped!
