One Man Injured, Shooter On The Loose In Glen Burnie: Police

Anne Arundel County police officers are seeking the suspect(s) who fired shots into a vehicle after an attempted carjacking failed.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Anne Arundel County police officers are seeking the public's health in discovering who fired shots Friday shortly after midnight in the 200 block of Woodhill Drive and Oak Manor Drive.

Officers who responded to the call for help canvassed the area and found spent shell casings in the roadway. A short time later, officers were told to go to a local hospital where a man with gunshot wounds to the upper torso was being treated for his non-life threatening injuries. A second man was tracked down and wasn't injured.

A preliminary investigation reveals that two unknown suspects approached the victims and attempted to take their vehicle. As the victims drove away, shots were fired striking the vehicle and one of the victims.
