One Suspect Arrested, One Flees in Glen Burnie Thefts: Police
An Annapolis man has been charged with stealing from vehicles early Monday morning.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — One suspected burglar escaped police pursuit early Monday, but police captured a second suspect in car breakins.
Anne Arundel County Police received a call that vehicles were being robbed about 4:30 a.m. Monday in the area of Summer Wind Way in Glen Burnie. Officers approached the area on foot in an attempt to catch the suspects in the act.
As the officers reached the suspects, the thieves ran to a vehicle and fled the scene.

The officers attempted to stop the suspect vehicle. When the vehicle stopped a short distance away, one suspect fled on foot and another was taken into custody without incident.
Stolen items including a GPS unit and cell phones, along with burglary tools were found inside the suspected burglar's vehicle.

Police charged Curtis Lee Dorsey, 47, of 1158 Bay Highlands Drive in Annapolis with theft, rogue and vagabond, and possession of burglary tools.
