Pedestrian Hit By Driver While Walking In The Road: Police
A Glen Burnie driver hit an Annapolis man who was walking down the center of Crain Highway. The pedestrian was seriously injured.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 57-year-old Annapolis man walking in the center of Crain Highway was hit by a passing car July 31 shortly after 11 p.m. A Mercury Grand Marquis being driven by 37-year-old Keith Montana Marcelin of Glen Burnie was heading south on Crain Highway when it struck the pedestrian at the intersection with Mayo Road.
According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the pedestrian was wearing dark, non-reflective clothes and was taken to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center with serious injuries.
A police report indicates that the pedestrian, who has not been identified, is the "primary cause of the crash." The crash is currently under investigation by the traffic safety section.
