Pedestrians Struck By Passing Cars In Glen Burnie
A man was hit along Route 10 by a passing vehicle while refueling a disabled vehicle. Another man was struck while changing a tire.
GLEN BURNIE, MD -- A 27-year-old man was hit by a passing car while refueling a vehicle that had run out of gas along Route 10 in the southbound lanes between Marley Station Road and Mountain Road. The incident occurred June 26 at 5:21 p.m. in the height of rush hour traffic.
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded to the accident and transported the victim to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center with serious injuries. Another pedestrian changing a tire on southbound Route 10 in Glen Burnie was hit by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon, too.
