Police: 144 Oxycodone Pills Found With Glen Burnie Man In SUV
There were 144 Oxycodone pills in former New York Jets player Jacob David Bender's SUV along with $4,078, police said.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — Anne Arundel County police officers arrested a 34-year-old man Nov. 12 after being dispatched to the Walgreens at 7953 Crain Highway South, where they said they discovered former NFL player Jacob David Bender with 144 Oxycodone pills valued at $3,600. Officers also said they found $4,078 in Bender's possession.
A search warrant executed at Bender's Glen Burnie home uncovered 34 shotgun shells, 50 9mm rounds and 40 .22-250 Remington rounds of ammunition, according to police. Bender has been charged with CDS: possession not marijuana, CDS: possession with intent to distribute a narcotic and illegal possession of ammunition.
Bender is a former New York Jets guard and offensive tackle. He was drafted by the Jets in 2007 but waived from them in 2008.
