Police: Annapolis Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident
A motorcyclist has died from injuries after allegedly losing control and crashing into an SUV in Annapolis.
Preston Adams Jr., 38, of Annapolis was killed in an accident Wednesday night when he reportedly slid into a Cadillac Escalade after losing control of his motorcycle, according to police.
Annapolis police officers were called to the intersection of West Street and Gibralter Avenue around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday for an accident that involved a motorcycle and two cars.
Investigators say Adams was driving along Gibralter Avenue toward West Street when he lost control and the bike fell over, according to a press release. Adams and the motorcycle slid into West Street, hitting the Cadillac Escalade, which then spun across the center line, striking a Buick LeSabre.

Adams was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, where he died from his injuries.
Oscar Villalta Rubio, 42, of Annapolis, the driver of the Cadillac and Alverta Darden, 73, of Severna Park, the driver of the Buick, were both uninjured.

Driver error contributed to the accident, according to police. It does not appear that drugs or alcohol were involved.
