Police: Glen Burnie Pot-Growing Case Yields Five Arrests
Five people were arrested on drug charges in Glen Burnie.

Anne Arundel County police have charged five people for drug crimes tied to a suspected marijuana-growing operation in Glen Burnie, The Baltimore Sun reports.
Police made the arrests Friday in the 100 block of Point Pleasant Road. Officers found 15 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of $1,000; nearly 400 grams of marijuana; drug dealing paraphernalia including a scale and packaging material; and $650 in cash, the newspaper says.
Frank Harper, 26; Joseph Clark, 28; Contessa Melton, 28; George Melton, 25; and Pamela Carder, 34, all of Glen Burnie, have been charged with drug manufacturing, possession and possession with intent to distribute, and possession of paraphernalia.
