Police: Growling Suspect Tried To Break Into Several Homes

Suspect was found as officers responded to several reports of break-ins, according to Anne Arundel Police.

A suspect is in custody after a string of break-in reports early Saturday morning in Pasadena, according to Anne Arundel Police.

Christopher Wade Shore Jr., 36, of the 900 block of Duvall Highway, has been charged with multiple counts of Burglary, Attempted Burglary, and Destruction of Property.

Officers responded at 3:36 a.m. Saturday to the 900 block of Duvall Highway regarding a burglary in progress.

The first victim told police that someone had broken a window and entered his home. Soon after, an attempted burglary was reported less than a block away where a someone had attempted to force a front door open.

As police where at the home, they heard yelling coming from the 7700 block of Central Avenue and responded on foot to find the suspect just inside the front door. Another resident on the same block reported damage to a storm door as the suspect attempted to gain entry.

Police say that Shore was extremely intoxicated while under the influence of an undetermined drug. The suspect was growling and not acting in a coherent manner.

Shore is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
