Police Search for Armed Robbers of Checkers Restaurant
The Checkers in Glen Burnie was robbed early Monday morning by three men, one of whom had a handgun.

Police are searching for three men in their late teens who reportedly robbed the Checkers restaurant in Glen Burnie early Monday morning.
Anne Arundel County Police were called to the business in the 100 block of Mountain Road about 12:28 a.m. Monday for an armed robbery report.
An employee in the restaurant parking lot taking out the trash was approached by three black men, one of whom carried a handgun, and ordered the employee back into the business. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money, along with the employees’ cell phones and a business phone, before fleeing on foot toward the Sun Valley Shopping Center.

A search of the area by K-9, aviation and patrol officers did not locate the suspects.
The first suspect is described as a black man in his late teens, 5’10”- 6’1”, 150-170 pounds, wearing black sweatpants, a black hooded sweatshirt with silver and white writing on the front, white shoes, sunglasses and a white cloth covering his face.

The second suspect is described as a black man in his late teens, 5’10”-6’1”, 150-170 pounds, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, red athletic shorts, red/white sneakers, a white cloth covering his face and sunglasses.
The third suspect is described as a black man in his late teens, 5’10”-6’1”, 150-170 pounds, wearing a dark sweatshirt, a black beanie style cap, a white cloth covering his face, sunglasses, sweatpants, dark sneakers and carrying a dark-colored backpack.
