Police Search For Man Involved In Glen Burnie Carjacking

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Anne Arundel County detectives are searching for a man they say was involved in a carjacking that happened Monday at approximately 11 p.m. The incident occurred in the 100 block of Warwickshire Lane. According to a police report, a woman parked her 2020 Buick Encore and then was approached by a man and a teenage girl. The suspects knocked the victim down, took her car keys and drove off in the woman's vehicle.

The vehicle was found by the Baltimore City police in the 5600 block of Sagra Road. A 15-year-old from Glen Burnie was arrested and charged on a juvenile citation with carjacking, robbery, unlawful vehicle taking, second-degree assault and theft. The man wasn't located.
