🌱 Propane Leak Explosion + Vape Makers Sued + Rapper Found Guilty

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Glen Burnie.

(Patch Media)

Good morning, neighbors! It's me again, Michele, your host of the Glen Burnie Daily.

First, today's weather:

Some sun, then clouds. High: 69 Low: 56.

Here are the top stories today in Glen Burnie:

  1. Games and Stuff owner and column writer for The Merchant's Anvil, Paul Alexander Butlertalks about the rising price of miniatures. The cost of everything is on the rise, this hobby is no exception. Click to read more of what Butler has to say on the subject. (ICv2)
  2. A leaking propane tank seems to be the cause of an explosion in Millersville. The explosion happened in the 1500 block of Jabez Run on Wednesday, May 4 at 9 a.m. A man inside the storage unit started a piece of machinery that ignited the propane tank. He sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Bayview Medical Center. (Patch)
  3. Anne Arundel County Public Schools have announced that they plan on suing the maker of vaping products. The lawsuit claims that the makers of vape are targeting children with flavors such as cotton candy and "tooty fruity." In Maryland, you must be 21 to purchase any kind of vape products, but many stores do not ask for identification from the purchaser. (News Break)
  4. Rapper Kyeem King was found guilty of a double homicide. After a 5-day trial and an 8-hour deliberation, King was sentenced to 128 years in prison. On June 1, 2019, officers found two victims that died from their gunshot wounds. Evidence collected pointed to King. (WMAR 2)
