Relay For Life Provides Free Entertainment to Families on Saturday May 16th

Today, the Relay For Life of North Anne Arundel County announced an exciting lineup of free entertainment for families at their May 16th event in Linthicum. This year marks the 30th Anniversary of the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life Movement, an occasion that will be celebrated with a variety of talented professionals donating performances to help fight back against cancer. The community is invited to join the party on the massive dance floor, or sit back in the bleachers and just enjoy the show.

Family Fun begins at 2:00 pm with the Part Time Princesses bringing magic and wonder to the event, and leading a Princess Sing-Along on stage before posing for photos with excited young fans. Kids Zumba will get the dance floor hopping next and will be followed by Musical Fun with Mr. Hyson at 4:00 pm, offering a positive, interactive good time with Mr. Leroy Hyson and his band, which happen to be the audience.

Following the Opening Ceremony and Cancer Survivor & Caregiver Laps at 5:00 pm, Eddie Pasa will perform acoustic versions of your favorite songs starting at 6:30 pm. Eddie will be followed at 7:15 pm by the award winning Harbor City Music Company Show Chorus, an energized group of women who sing a Capella, four-part harmony music. At 8:15 pm, Good Measure will take the stage to play a familiar mix of oldies and country music as line dancers take to the floor. Several special guests are also expected to appear at the Relay For Life, including Raven’s Mascot Poe who will be posing with fans starting at 7:00 pm.

Controlled Chaos kick the party up to another level from 10:00 pm to midnight, with their mix of rock covers from the 80’s till today. Controlled Chaos is a fun, high energy, 5 piece band that brings an original style to popular cover tunes in performances throughout the Baltimore, Annapolis, and D.C. area.

The fun begins at 2:00 PM on May 16th at Lindale Middle School, 415 Andover Road, in Linthicum, MD. Be there for a celebration of life and an unmatched lineup of free entertainment.
