First, today's weather:

Here are the top stories in Glen Burnie today:

  1. Sadly, 63-year-old Danielle Neal succumbed to her injuries Saturday, April 30. The fire broke out on April 26 in Annapolis on the 2600 block of Compass Drive. Firefighters were able to contain the fire and remove the victim. (Patch)
  2. A St. Louis firm is opening headquarters near BWI Airport. This will potentially bring in 50 jobs to the area. (Maryland Daily Record)
  3. Friday, May 6, Maryland's firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty will be remembered at "Fallen Heroes Day." This year John Balcer will be remembered. He was killed in 1970 when the fire truck he was on flipped over. (Firehouse)
  4. Route 665 near Solomon's Island Road was shut down May 2 due to a crash. A dump truck fell between two bridges in Edgewater around 2:20 p.m. The accident resulted in a fatality. No other information is available at presstime. (Newsbreak)
