The Retro-Rockets, named one of Baltimore’s Best Retro bands by WJZ TV, is a 6 member oldies/variety/dance band, specializing in music of the 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond. Playing
a unique blend of driving rock and roll songs, smooth ballads, R&B
music, classic instrumentals, country, and standards, and featuring
strong vocals and tight harmonies, the Retro-Rockets promises an exciting show for all ages featuring the music of such past artists as Chuck Berry, Etta James, Roy Orbison, Elvis, the Drifters, Jimmy Buffet, and Jackie
Wilson. There will be plenty of room for dancing and plenty of
opportunities to sing along with the kind of music that everybody knows.
Whenever
the Retro-Rockets play, people have fun. Band members often interact
with the audience, inviting people to sing along, to dance, to smile,
and to remember some of their favorite songs of the past. The audience
becomes a part of each performance.
The Retro-Rockets,
is all about making and bringing back memories from poodle skirts,
drive-in movies, and sock hops to disco and classic rock. Blast off to
an evening of fun, great music and dancing with the Retro-Rockets.
