The
Retro-Rockets, a 6-piece oldies/variety/dance band, specializing in music of
the 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond and named one of Baltimore’s Best Retro Bands by CBS
Local WJZ TV, will be presenting a
concert/dance at the Chesapeake Art Center, 194 Hammonds Lane, Brooklyn Park,
MD just inside the Baltimore Beltway, from 7:30-9:30 pm in Studio 194 Theater. There will be plenty of
room for dancing and plenty of great oldies from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond including the music of Chuck Berry, Etta James, Carrie
Underwood, Roy Orbison, Elvis, the Drifters, Jimmy Buffet, and many other
musicians, as the Retro-Rockets plays its unique blend of driving rock and roll
songs, country, smooth ballads, disco, and R&B music . Tickets are $10 for CAC members and $12 for
