🌱 Road Rage on I-97 + Sewage Spill Suffocates Fish + Cash4Life Winner
The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Glen Burnie.

Happy Fathers day everybody! It's me, Michele, your host of the Glen Burnie Daily. Here are all the most important things to know about what's happening in town.
First, today's weather:
Mostly sunny, breezy and nice. High: 78 Low: 55....A little chilly, take a sweater to dinner tonight.
Here are the top stories in Glen Burnie today:
- Decoste Albes, Jr., 21, of Hatfield, Pennsylvania was involved with in a road rage incident Friday around 7:30 p.m. The incident occurred on I-97 near the Dorsey Road exit. It was reported that Albes was brandishing a firearm. The firearm was reported stolen from Baltimore city. Maryland State Police arrested the man without incident. (maryland.gov)
- The Baltimore sewage spill that happened on June 2 is the cause of a massive amount of dead fish in the creek. Jay Apperson, a spokesman for the MDE, has stated in an interview with the Baltimore Sun "that the fish were likely killed by anoxic bottom water intrusion." Another theory is the sewage spill caused an algae bloom, which sucked up all the oxygen in the water, which in turn suffocated the fish. (Bay Net)
- Another Maryland lottery winner! Greg Snider, a Millersville man had been having dreams about winning a large amount of money, "For the past three weeks, I've been having dreams about coming into a lot of money... It was like the machine was pulling me in." The Cash4Life game allows them to either get an extra $1000 a week for life or a one time payout of $1 million. Congratulations! It pays to follow your dreams! (News Break)
