Robber Threatens To Blow Up M&T Bank In Glen Burnie: Police

A woman reportedly threatened to blow up M&T Bank in Glen Burnie if she wasn't given cash, police say.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A woman reportedly threatened to blow up the M&T Bank at 6707 Ritchie Hwy. in Glen Burnie Thursday afternoon, according to Anne Arundel County Police. Bank employees said a woman entered the bank and passed a note to the teller that demanded money or she would “blow the place up.”

The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash, and the woman fled from the bank on foot. Several officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black woman, about 5'7", between 30 and 40 years old, with a heavy build, and pink-colored hair.
