Second CVS Robbed in Severn in Less Than a Week

No weapon was seen in Sunday's robbery; a suspect who robbed another CVS last week had a handgun.

For the second time in less than a week, a CVS pharmacy in Severn has been robbed, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

The most recent holdup happened about 7:55 p.m. Sunday at the CVS store in the 7800 block of Telegraph Road in Severn.

The clerk reported that a man entered and demanded money from the register. No weapon was shown during the robbery. The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of money and fled in an unknown direction. Officers canvassed the area, but did not find the suspect.

Police describe the suspect as a black man, about 6’4” with a medium build, wearing a hooded red sweatshirt, a black ski mask and blue jeans.

Last week, the CVS Pharmacy in the 2600 block of Annapolis Road in Severn was robbed by an armed suspect, Patch earlier reported. In the Nov. 19 case the suspect was armed with a handgun and took cash from the register.

The suspect in the first robbery is described as a black man, about 5’1”-5’3 with an average build, wearing a black ski mask, a long black jacket, light green khaki pants (military style), black Nike boots and white gloves.
