Shooter Identified In Glen Burnie Homicide: Police

GLEN BURNIE, MD — An arrest has been made in the shooting death of 35-year-old Robert Randall Turner III of Curtis Bay that happened March 1 at approximately 8 p.m. The incident occurred in the 7500 block of Baleen Court. Turner was found lying inside a doorway. While he was taken to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

While investigating the shooting, Anne Arundel County police officers learned the identity of the shooter and located then arrested Cortez Sherrod Artis, 26, of Baltimore. He was found with two loaded firearms, according to a police report from the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
