Shooting At Glen Burnie Restaurant Hospitalizes Man: Police

A shooting at a Glen Burnie restaurant hospitalized a man, police said. Officers need help finding the suspect who fled the scene.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Tuesday shooting at a Glen Burnie restaurant hospitalized a man, county police announced.

Officers said they heard about the shooting at 5th Avenue Breakfast & Lunch, located at 503 Greenway Road SE, around 10:30 a.m.

Authorities said they found the victim with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He was alert and conscious when officers arrived. Medics took him to an unidentified trauma center.

Officers said the suspect fled before they arrived. The male shooter may have been driving a light-colored sedan.
