Today, ShopRite will empower low-income residents of Maryland with the shopping skills needed to stretch their food dollar and serve healthy, affordable meals to their families. Local families will learn to compare unit prices, buy more fruits and vegetables on a budget, read food labels, and find whole grains.
Join us for free tours at 11:00 am, 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm and free cooking demos at 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm
Tour participants will each recieve $10 worth of healthy groceries and take part in a challenge after the tour to buy ingredients that would make a healthy meal for a family of four for under $10.
