Shots Fired In Glen Burnie, Bullet Shatters Home's Window: Police

Recent gunfire in Glen Burnie shattered a home's window, police said. Detectives are investigating, and officers asked for tips.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Recent gunfire damaged a Glen Burnie home, county police announced Monday.

Officers said they got a call last Friday around 12:30 p.m. for a bullet that was fired into a home in the 400 block of Whispering Elm Lane.

The victim reported that a projectile shattered a rear upstairs window. The projectile was found on the floor, authorities said.

Nobody inside the home was hurt, and nobody else reported property damage.

Officers said they searched the area for video surveillance but did not find any.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department is still investing.
