Suspect Photos Released in Yogurt Shop Robbery

Anne Arundel County Police say an armed robbery held up a clerk at the Yogurt in Love store in Hanover.

Police have released security camera footage of a man suspected of robbing the Yogurt In Love store at 2649 Annapolis Road, Suite B, in Hanover Monday night.

A store employee told police the suspect approached the cash register, took out a handgun and demanded money from the register. After putting the unspecified amount of money in a bag he carried with him, the robber left on foot heading toward Rockenbach Road.

Numerous units searched the area, but did not find the suspect.

There were no customers in the business at the time of the incident and the employee was not hurt, police say.

The suspect was described as possibly an Asian man, 25 to 35 years old, 5’7”-5’9”, with black hair, a tattoo on right side of his neck, and a tattoo on the back of his left hand with a square design with a line diagonal through it. He was wearing a gray hoody, black pants, white and light blue Nike sneakers with the number 24 in light blue on them.

Authorities say the suspect may have left the scene in a tan, four-door Chevy Cavalier with dark tinted windows, no hub cabs and black wheels.
