Swastikas Painted On Road, Building In Glen Burnie: Police
Swastikas were painted on a road and a building in Glen Burnie, police said. Detectives are still investigating.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — Swastikas were painted on a road and a building in Glen Burnie, police announced Monday. Nazi Germany used this symbol during the Holocaust, so many people consider it a symbol of hate.
Officers heard about the vandalism in the Elvaton Towne community around 6:30 a.m. Authorities said they found two swastikas on the street and one on a building owned by the homeowners' association.
Police and county crews were on the scene removing the swastikas around noon on Monday.

Detectives are still investigating. Officers don't know how many people are responsible, and they did not give any information on the suspect(s).
