Glen Burnie High School Fight Prompts Arrest On Knife, Trespassing Charges: Police
A teenager was arrested after a fight at Glen Burnie High School, police said. He was caught with a knife and tried to evade the police.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Police announced that they arrested a juvenile male Friday at Glen Burnie High School after they caught him with a knife following a fight. Authorities don't think the suspect threatened anybody with the weapon.
The scuffle started around 11:30 a.m. near the cafeteria during a lunch transition. A school resource officer and other nearby employees reported seeing "a juvenile highly agitated and attempting to fight another student." The workers separated the parties and realized that one of them did not belong in the school.
Police said they detained that trespassing suspect, but he tried to flee while he was being escorted to the school office. Authorities stopped him almost immediately, however.
