Teen Shot In Glen Burnie, Detectives Seek Tips: Report
A teenager said he was shot in Glen Burnie. Officers asked the community for tips.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A teenager told police that he was shot Sunday in Glen Burnie, a press release said.
The 15-year-old victim reported that the encounter happened around 1:50 a.m. when he was walking from a friend’s house near Elvaton Road and Highland Drive. The boy told officers that he heard about six shots and was hit by one of them, the release said.
Authorities then responded to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center around 2:45 a.m.

The victim was unfamiliar with the neighborhood, so he could not give an exact location of where it all happened.
Police searched the area, but they did not find any spent shell casings or damage from gunfire. Officers also spoke with neighbors. Nobody reported hearing gunshots.
