Teens Charged With Breaking into Vehicles
Boys ages 15 and 16 reportedly broke into three vehicles in Glen Burnie.
Two teenage boys were arrested for breaking into cars in Glen Burnie and were later released to their parents, according to the Anne Arundel County Police.
Officers called about 12:24 a.m. Wednesday say a witness saw several suspects pulling on door handles of vehicles while walking along Kent Road. As police converged on the area, several juveniles were stopped at the corner of Kent Road and New Jersey Avenue.
Two of the youths had stolen property in their possession, including GPS devices, CDs, DVDss, jewelry, shoes and charging cords, authorities say. Police officers located the owners of some of the items that the juveniles had in their possession.
The two teenagers reportedly caught with the stolen property were arrested, charged and released from the station to their parents or guardians. A total of three vehicles were broken into and had items removed.
The suspects are a 16-year-old boy from Glen Burnie and a 15-year-old boy from Brooklyn.
