Teens Face Charges After Being Stopped In Stolen Vehicle: Police
Officers saw a vehicle being driven erratically in the area of Saunders Way and Manning Road in Glen Burnie and stopped it.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — Two teens were charged and released to their guardians after being stopped by Anne Arundel County police officers Tuesday shortly after midnight. Officers saw a vehicle being driven erratically in the area of Saunders Way and Manning Road in Glen Burnie. The vehicle, a maroon 2013 Chevrolet Cruze, had been reported as stolen and a traffic stop was conducted.
The driver and rear seat passenger were detained but the front seat passenger fled on foot. K9 and air units responded but were unable to locate that suspect. The vehicle was confirmed stolen through the city of Annapolis. Northern District detectives are investigating this incident and ask that anyone with information regarding the identity of the outstanding suspect call 410-222-6135 or the tip line at 410-222-4700.
