GLEN BURNIE, MD — A group of teenagers riding their bicycles in the parking garage of the Hein Building in Glen Burnie were approached Thursday by another group of bicyclists. The first group took off and was followed by the second group. While pedaling, a bicyclist in the second group rode up next to a bicyclist in the second group and kicked him off his bike then another bicyclist pulled out a handgun and took his bike.
According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the victim called the police and eventually, the second group of bicyclists was found with the stolen bike in their possession. A K-9 officer conducted a search and found a bag containing the black handgun with an extended magazine that had been discarded in the nearby woods. The handgun was determined to be a BB gun.
