Traffic Stop Yields Marijuana Edibles, Loaded Gun: Police
A traffic stop Thursday in Glen Burnie ended with the driver's arrest after officers found marijuana edibles, a gun and CDS paraphernalia.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — An Anne Arundel County police officer who caught a whiff of marijuana coming from a vehicle that had just been pulled over ended up arresting and charging 22-year-old Lakeysha M. McKnight of Glen Burnie.
The officer searched the vehicle and found a Taurus G2C 9 mm semi-automatic handgun loaded with 12 rounds of ammunition, 28.3 grams of suspected marijuana edibles and CDS paraphernalia.
McKnight was driving a black GMC Yukon near the intersection of Hidden Brook Drive and Crain Highway South Thursday shortly after 6 p.m. when she was pulled over.
