Two Armed Robberies Wednesday: Anne Arundel Police
It is unknown if the robberies are related, but in both robberies, the suspect was wearing a mask.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD -- Two armed robberies occurred Wednesday, June 21 in Anne Arundel County. According to a press release from Anne Arundel County police, the suspect had a mask on in both events.
Around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to Sally's Beauty Supplies at 7972 Crain Highway in Glen Burnie. Employees told officers that a man entered the store and "implied he had a weapon in his pocket," and demanded cash from the register.
The employee complied, giving the robber cash from the register. The robber then ran away. Police conducted a search including K-9 units, but it was to no avail.

The suspect of the robbery was reported as being a black male, six-feet and two-inches tall, weighed about 175 pounds and was wearing dark clothing, gloves and a mask.
Around 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to the BP gas station at 140 Old Solomons Island Rd. in Annapolis. The clerk told police that the robber pointed a handgun at him, so he ran out the back door of the business.

Upon returning, the clerk noted that the suspect had taken an undetermined amount of money from the register.
The suspect was reported as a male wearing a mask, with no other information available.
