UM BALTIMORE WASHINGTON MEDICAL CENTER OFFERS MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT GROUP

UM
Baltimore Washington Medical Center offers a mental health support group for
community members and families seeking information on psychiatric issues. The
program is offered from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month
(November and December meetings are on the third Wednesday due to the holidays)
in Room A of the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) located on the second
floor of the medical center. Upcoming dates for 2014 include January 22,
February 26, March 26, April 23, May 28, June 25, July 23, August 27, September
24, October 22, November 19 and December 17.



            The program covers a
variety of mental health topics such as depression, anxiety, addiction and
bipolar disorder. Community resources and services available to patients and
their families will also be discussed. Reservations are not requested. For more
