UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center and the American Cancer Society are teaming up to offer “Man-to-Man,” a monthly education and support group for men and their significant others to learn about the topics related to prostate cancer diagnosis, treatment and management. The program is offered from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the third Monday of each month in the conference room located on the first floor of the Tate Center (305 Hospital Drive). Upcoming dates for 2013 include July 15, August 19, September 16, October 21, November 18 and December 16.
Directed by Urologist Ed Zagula, M.D., the program provides a comfortable and confidential setting among peers to openly discuss and share common experiences and problems related to prostate cancer. Specialists in various fields related to prostate cancer will share information on medical topics and quality of life issues through interactive presentations and materials. The program is free and light refreshments will be provided. Reservations are not requested.
