Urban Gardening Workshop: Container Gardening

Who: Ages 13+ (Under 16 needs to participate with an adult)

How Much? $50 per container. Maximum two participants per container.

This spring, the Maryland Science Center is your place to go to learn the basics of gardening and get your plantings ready for the summer.  A series of urban gardening workshops covering a range of topics are available for you to participate in.

Join the Maryland Science Center in The Shed for a Container Gardening Workshop, led by Jennifer Kirschnick from Blue Water Baltimore. Container gardening is a great option for those with limited or no yard space, or for beginning gardeners looking for an easy start. This hands-on workshop will cover the basics of container gardening, plant and container options, and how to maintain your pot. Participants will take home their own container garden with three native plants. All materials will be provided.
