Victim Carjacked At Gunpoint, Assaulted With Pistol Outside His Glen Burnie Home: Police

A man was carjacked at gunpoint and assaulted with a pistol while sitting outside his Glen Burnie home, police said.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Police announced that a man was carjacked and assaulted last Wednesday while sitting outside his Glen Burnie home. Officers recovered the stolen vehicle soon after, but they could not find the two unknown suspects.

The encounter happened around 1 a.m. in the 8000 block of Green Orchard Road. The victim was sitting in his car when the duo approached and pointed guns at him, authorities alleged.

A press release stated that the suspects told him to get out of the vehicle and hand over his keys. The write-up also accused one of the men of hitting the victim in the face with a pistol before the partners drove away in the stolen car.

Officers spotted the unoccupied vehicle around the corner near Donna Court and Crainmont Drive.
