Water Main Breaks Outside North County High, Blocks Road To School: Officials
A water main broke outside North County High School in Glen Burnie, officials said. The burst blocked the front entrance of the school.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Officials said a water main broke outside North County High School on Monday afternoon. Workers expected the burst to affect dismissal at the Glen Burnie school.
The Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works announced the problem at 1:51 p.m. The agency noted that the front entrance of the school was closed to traffic for repairs. The affected main is located at East 1st Avenue and Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard.
"We appreciate your patience while [crews] address this emergency," the department of public works tweeted. "Please use caution in this area."
