Woman Carjacked In Glen Burnie: Police
A woman walking through a parking lot in Glen Burnie reported a man approaching her, demanding her keys, then stealing her vehicle Feb. 13.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — Anne Arundel County police officers responded to a carjacking in the parking lot at 6631 Ritchie Highway Feb. 13 at approximately 8 p.m. A woman was walking to her vehicle when a man threatened her and demanded her car keys. She handed over the keys and the man climbed into her Silver Toyota Corolla and took off headed north on Ritchie Highway.
Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect or vehicle. No weapons were displayed or used during the carjacking. Eastern District detectives are investigating this incident and ask that anyone with information call 410-222-6145 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
