Woman Dragged By Man In Car During Glen Burnie Robbery: Police

According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the woman's cell phone was stolen during the incident.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A woman was dragged approximately 10 feet by a man sitting in the passenger seat of a car who grabbed onto her arm and tried to steal her cell phone. According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the incident occurred Oct. 2 at approximately 8:45 p.m. in the 7200 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard. The woman told police that three men in a silver sedan pulled alongside her and a friend and asked for directions to Telegraph Road.

When the woman began looking up directions on her cell phone, the passenger grabbed her arm that held the phone and the driver took off. She was dragged along until she released her cell phone, according to a police report. The vehicle headed south toward Interstate 97. The victim wasn't injured and officers couldn't find the vehicle or the suspects.
