Woman Punched In Head, Phone Stolen In Glen Burnie: Police

The woman had taken a vehicle listed for sale on a test drive when she was assaulted and robbed, according to the Anne Arundel County police

GLEN BURNIE, MD — On Christmas Day, Anne Arundel County police officers responded to the 7300 block of Ritchie Highway for a citizen robbery. A woman arranged via social media to meet with a man to look at a Nissan sedan for sale. The arrived in the vehicle, but was accompanied by another man and two women, according to a police report. The woman and one of the men took the vehicle for a test drive. When they returned, the other man knocked her cell phone out of her hand.

The woman bent down to pick up her phone and one of the four suspects punched her in the head. One of the men grabbed her phone and they all left in the vehicle, the police department noted. Officers searched the area but could not locate the vehicle or the suspects.
