• Maryland Man Charged With Stealing More Than $1 Million From Dozens of Seniors (thebaynet.com) — Federal prosecutors in Greenbelt say a Hyattsville man has been charged with bank fraud in a scheme that allegedly stole over $1 million from mostly elderly victims. Investigators claim he redirected mail, ordered debit cards, and made more than 1,500 ATM withdrawals and purchases, including luxury goods, targeting seniors averaging 81 years old plus small businesses and a charter school.

Now the longtime voice of the Lansing Lugnuts and author of popular sports "thesaurus" books, he's built a notable minor‑league and occasional major‑league broadcasting career that began far from his Prince George's County roots.
