Arbor Day Volunteers Needed Saturday, March 28

Celebrate Arbor Day on Saturday, March 28 from 10 am - 1 pm by planting and protecting trees in Greenbelt's beautiful Buddy Attick Park.

On March 28 from 10 am - 1 pm, the City of Greenbelt Forest Stewardship Project needs volunteers to plant trees and plants, protect trees, and collect information on the City of Greenbelt’s Memorial Trees in Buddy Attick Park. Orientation and training will take place inside the Public Works Building, which is located just down the hill from the Buddy Attick Park parking lot, 555 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770.

Following the volunteer event, the Advisory Committee on Trees (ACT) will lead a free tour of Greenbelt’s 14 Top Significant Trees.

Individuals and groups are welcome! Bring your community service forms for high school graduation!
