Bowie Man Faces 92 Years in Prison for Three Child Sex Abuse Cases

Michael David Brochu was convicted in July for molesting an 11-year-old boy at a public pool.

A Bowie man faces a total of 92 years in prison for three child sex abuse cases spanning from 2011 to 2012.

Michael David Brochu, 54, was sentenced to six years in prison on Friday for his third child sex abuse case in the past two years, the Washington Post reports. He was found guilty last year in two other sex abuse cases involving his neighbor’s children, and the total prison time for the three convictions could total nine decades.

The judge who sentenced Brochu last year called him a “predatory pedophile,” according to the Post.
