CHEARS Seeks Community Garden Volunteers
The Chesapeake Education, Arts & Research Society (CHEARS) is recruiting garden volunteers for spring 2015!

The Chesapeake Education, Arts & Research Society (CHEARS) promotes the health of all life in the Chesapeake Watershed through action projects organized by volunteers.
Now that spring has sprung, garden volunteers are needed to care for the CHEARS Three Sisters Demonstration Gardens and Greenbelt Food Forest.
A seed starting workday will take place on Friday, April 10 from 10 am - 1 pm in the Greenbelt Public Works Greenhouse (555 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770).

The official spring 2015 garden workday will take place on Saturday, April 11.
8:30 am - 11 am at Springhill Lake Recreation Center (6101 Cherrywood Lane, Greenbelt, MD 20770)

11:30 am - 2 pm at Schrom Hills Park (6915 Hanover Parkway, Greenbelt, MD 20770)
2:30 pm - 5 pm at Community Center (15 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770)
Individuals and groups are all welcome! Bring your family and friends for a fun day of service outside.
No experience is necessary. All training and equipment will be provided courtesy of Greenbelt Department of Public Works.
