The Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation® (DRWF) is hosting a special presentation of : Transplantation: An option taking place at the Greenbelt Marriott in Maryland on Saturday, April 9th at 8am. The event will feature islet cell transplant recipient, live kidney donor, pancreas & kidney recipient as well as researchers and surgeons Dr. Melancon of the GW Transplant Institute, Dr. Bellin of the University of Minnesota and Dr. Piper of INOVA Transplant Center. Many people do not realize that this could be an option for their diabetes. We are encouraging people to look into all their options as well as educating the public about transplants and organ donation. Our foundation is very passionate about funding diabetes research for the cure. I hope that you are able to help.
