The Public Safety Advisory Committee (PSAC) is hosting a CPR course to encourage residents to become CPR trained and certified. The course will be held Saturday, June 9th, 2012 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at the Greenbelt Volunteer Fire Department on Crescent Road.
The cost is only $20 per person (most CPR courses cost at least $100 if not more - so, this is a great opportunity) and the course is being taught by an American Heart Association certified instructor and will cover adult and infant CPR along with some general first aide information. Certification will be provided for the CPR training (not the first aide portion). The enrollment is limited to 15 persons. Pre-registration is recommended, but not required. We are accepting walk-ins as long as space remains. Payment will be collected at the door and we require cash or check only.
To pre-register, you can send an email to Laura Kressler, PSAC Chair at GreenbeltPSAC@yahoo.com to get your name on the list. You can also email me with any questions.
