Planetarium Program "Sunwatchers of the Southwest"

  The Sun is our source of light and heat. Every culture appreciates it and celebrates it in some way. On this night, come view the Sun through the eyes of the Ancient Sunwatchers of the Southwest. Celebrate it! Track it through the sky! Immerse yourself in its wonders as our planetarium staff leads you through the experience of sunwatching as evidenced by ancient petroglyphs/pictographs and solar observatories. A tour of the night sky (other “suns”!) follows the presentation.
