Fairwood Arts Festival Coming to Bowie

The Fairwood Arts Festival will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Sept. 13 at Fairwood Community Park in Bowie, according to a news release from the Prince George’s County Department of Parks and Recreation’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Division.

The free festival will feature live performances, art and food vendors, and children’s activities.

Performers include Rob White, Lorenzo Miller, Akua Allrich and Upton Blues Band. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to celebrate local music and artists.
