Greenbelt Celebrates Earth Day

Celebrate Earth Day on April 18 by volunteering for a watershed clean up of Indian Creek sponsored by the Alice Ferguson Foundation.

Celebrate Earth Day by participating in a watershed clean up of Indian Creek in Greenbelt, MD!

On Saturday, April 18 from 10 am - 2 pm, volunteers will be equipped with the proper tools to clean up Indian Creek, which is located behind the Springhill Lake Recreation Center.

No experience is necessary. Individuals and groups are welcome. Bring your family and friends for a day of service outside!

Remember to bring a reusable water bottle, wear weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes you don’t mind getting dirty.

ATTENTION: High school students should bring their community service forms for graduation requirements.
