Greenbelt Seniors Celebrate Their Golden Age
Seniors at the Golden Age Club meet weekly, participating in activities like field trips, sharing lunch together, listening to speakers and playing Bingo.
The Greenbelt seniors organization, the Golden Age Club, is in its 54th year. Members meet weekly to do various activities like eat lunch together and play Bingo.Â
The club, funded by the City of Greenbelt, has about 140 members, 40 of which are regulars.Â
Members must be at least 60 years old and live in Greenbelt's city limits.Â

On Wednesday, the seniors celebrated their monthly birthday lunch at the to toast members whose birthdays are in August.Â
